Courtny Smith

Distribution Manager

My name is Courtny Smith, and I am the Distribution and Driver Manager at Traxxside Logistics. I started with the company in March of 2022 after having worked with some of the Traxxside team members in my previous years. I originally joined the team as the Inventory Coordinator and moved to the logistics side when we started the trucking division in 2023. I have 15 years in inventory management and logistics which helps me support our customers, along our team of drivers. With the assistance of my team, we help our customers maintain inventories and plan timely deliveries based on their schedule requirements. With 25 years in customer service, I share Traxxside’s belief that building relationships, from our management team, our employees, to our customers is the backbone of our business. In my personal time, I enjoy being outdoors with my husband, daughter and our two dogs. Our weekends are spent boating, four wheeling and cottaging with family and friends.

Martin Pennings

Feed Safety & Compliance Manger

I have been involved in the feed industry for over 35 years and have been working in operations at Traxxside Logistics since 1995.

Recently I transitioned into the new position of Feed Safety & Compliance Manager. My goal is to use my experience to further advance our V4 certification and compliance.

I am very passionate about this facility since I’ve been involved in the transition through the years of it starting as a feed mill to becoming the progressive transloading facility we are today.

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two grandchildren and spending time with my wife out on the water. I am also very passionate about the great outdoors .

With the dedicated team we have here at Traxxside the future is very exciting. I look forward to continuing to build this one-of-a-kind facility and to be a leader in the feed ingredient industry.

Samantha Bucci

Inventory Coordinator

My name is Samantha Bucci and I am the Inventory Coordinator here at Traxxside Logistics. I joined the team in April 2022, after almost 20 years in the waste industry. My dedication to organization and ability to adapt has been beneficial to our warehouse appointment scheduling and space management. I am committed to working along side our bulk and management teams to maintain and grow our customer relationships. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places and staying creative through my passion for photography.

Richard Reath

General Manager

I’m Richard Reath, the General Manager at Traxxside Logistics, I’m proud to be a part of the company since 2019. With an extensive background in purchasing, planning, forecasting and warehousing. I’m dedicated to achieving operational excellence. Outside of work, I value time with my beautiful wife and wonderful children, I enjoy camping, fine cigars, smoking meat, firearms and sport shooting. Growing up on a farm in a rural community instilled in me a strong work ethic and a passion for local values. At Traxxside Logistics, I bring my diverse interests and wholehearted approach to contribute to our team’s success and positive work culture.

Darlene Davidson

Office Manager (Swiss Army Knife)

I Joined Traxxside in March of 2020, after previously being one of their customers. I have over 30 years of customer and managerial experience.

I maintain office services by organizing office operations, procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence of AP and AR. Designing filing systems, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions, Assigning, and monitoring clerical functions as well as implementing office policies, establishing standards, procedures and contract updates; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments as well as being a certified JHSC rep for the management side. I enjoy planning Traxxside team events across the year.

I have a passion for my Traxxside team and my job.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with family, golfing, NFL football games on screen or live (Steelers/Buffalo fan) as well as a nice glass of wine and laughter filled chats with my husband.

It’s my belief that our core values will help our team be the best possible team.

David Warne

General Manager

David Warne joined Traxxside as General Manager in 2019 with over two decades of truck and rail transportation & business development experience across multiple industries. He holds a Diploma in Supply Chain Management from George Brown College. At Traxxside, David has focused on growth, team building, advancing health and safety initiatives, streamlining and modernizing workflows, and rail carrier relationships. David is passionate about a variety of transportation and logistics subjects and at times he can be found behind the wheel of a truck or switching rail cars in the yard.
